I ‘upgraded’ to 3.0 and now can’t see my site or even login to dashboard or get my pages + files back so I can switch applications!

    I got the following msg)

Fatal error: Call to a member function add_rewrite_tag() on a non-object in /home/dollar10/public_html/wp-includes/taxonomy.php on line 289

I then deleted some .php and other wordpress files from cPanel and now get the following msgs)

Warning: require(/home/dollar10/public_html/wp-includes/taxonomy.php) [function.require]: failed to open stream: No such file or directory in /home/dollar10/public_html/wp-settings.php on line 126

Fatal error: require() [function.require]: Failed opening required ‘/home/dollar10/public_html/wp-includes/taxonomy.php’ (include_path=’.:/usr/lib/php:/usr/local/lib/php’) in /home/dollar10/public_html/wp-settings.php on line 126

I just want my site to go back to the way it was OR to get my pages!

PLEASE HELP ME – NO LINKS OR FAQS OR OTHER NONSENSE, JUST HELP ME!

What exactly did you delete? It sounds like you may have made a bad situation worst. Did you back up before upgrading?

thank you for responding, i certainly did make things worse.
however, my web-host support figured it out and all’s well.
