upgrade to 2.0 : profile page broken

Hi, I upgraded ultimate member to 2.0 on a site I’m building (it’s not live yet). Before that it all worked fine but since the upgrade the profile page is all broken. It does not render a whole page.
the html response gets cut after <i class="um-faicon-cog"></i>
And the funny thing is that it also breaks the admin version of the page. I can’t edit it any more.
I recreated a new page and inserted my shortcode to the same result.
I’m using WP4.9.6 with Divi3.5.1
Any idea?
