Upgrade to 2.0.2, admin user can no longer login

I upgraded to 2.0.2 from 1.5 and I think I logged in as admin. I imported posts from MT, and told the import to attach the MT username (tim) and make him an admin. Then I did a bit of editing, and wandered off to show “tim” – when he logged in to administration, he had only 2 things he could do: view the dashboard and update his profile.

I had something similar occur last night on another set of WP blogs, but finally got them working… I can’t seem to do that this time because now I cannot login as admin.

So – is there a way to reset the admin password if I can’t get in? or must I blow away the database tables, and start over? I have not changed my wp-config.php -and postings show up fine in the public display.
