Upgrade to 2.0.4

After upgrading, I discovered that the uploaded pictures under the write post are missing part of the path.
example:
When I pull the uploaded file to the post area I would get this link
https://soodz.com/wp-content/uploads/2006/08/25061.jpg
Even though wp uploaded it to this link
https://soodz.com/blog/wp-content/uploads/2006/08/25061.jpgHow did I mess up the upgrade to make wordpress do that? Please any input would be greatly appreciated!
And many thanks to the Masked Hero io_error in IRC that totally saved the day ??
