Upgrade to 2.0.6 or wait for 2.1?

    I am running 2.0.5, but I see now that 2.0.6 is available. I also see that 2.1 will be available in about a week.

    Do you think I will be able to jump over 2.0.6 and upgrade directly from 2.0.5 to 2.1 when it is unveiled?

    The reason I ask is because I am in Asia now and the Internet is very very slow (because of the earthquake) and upgrading to 2.0.6 alone will take a few hours as ftp times out and things slowly get uploaded. I don’t want to spend so much time twice in a week upgrading, so i’m thinking of waiting… but I worry that I will not be able to jump and will have to first upgrade to 2.0.6 anyway.

    Anybody know?

  • I know 2.0.6 version have only some security fix. So you can upgrade to 2.0.6 if you worry about hacker, or wait for 2.1.

    Well 2.0.6 has some security fixes that might be worthwhile but you will be able to upgrade directly from 2.0.5 to 2.1.
