Upgrade to 2.6, Blank screens after actions

  • I recently upgraded to 2.6 and everything seemed to go fine. All user facing actions are fine.

    However, within the admin area whenever I try to post a new entry, delete a draft, edit a post I go to a blank screen. If I refresh the URL the new entry posts just fine but I cannot delete drafts at all. Its irritating just now but I’m wary of the problem growing worse with future upgrades.

    Any ideas out there…?

  • I’m having an issue with that too. It takes a long time to delete 1 file, so if you delete more than one from the Manage/Posts page, it hangs until you finally get an Internal Server Error. Very lame.

    It’s worse than I thought, it leads to an internal server error half the time I delete a single draft from the Write panel:

    The server encountered an internal error or misconfiguration and was unable to complete your request.
    Please contact the server administrator, [email protected] and inform them of the time the error occurred, and anything you might have done that may have caused the error.

    In some of the cases refreshing the page completed the delete after about 30 seconds of waiting. That should have been a fairly simple check for whoever tests this stuff. :-p
