Upgrade to 2.6 successful, but…invisible catagories

I upgraded to 2.6 last night (looks great!), but now all my catagories are “invisible”. Why? When I go to admin and look at catagories, it shows how a long list of them, but there is no name to them. The count of posts with them is accurate, but no names. What gives?
