Upgrade to 3.1 has failed and I'm stuck

    I manually upgraded to version 3.1 and now get this message

    Warning: require(/home/markhodg/public_html/wp-includes/class-wp.php) [function.require]: failed to open stream: No such file or directory in /home/markhodg/public_html/wp-settings.php on line 68

    Fatal error: require() [function.require]: Failed opening required ‘/home/markhodg/public_html/wp-includes/class-wp.php’ (include_path=’.:/usr/lib/php:/usr/local/lib/php’) in /home/markhodg/public_html/wp-settings.php on line 68

    I’m lost can anyone help

  • To fix this error, I had to manually download 3.1 and replace the WP-Admin folder with the 3.1 version. Then I visited my site again and it upgraded my database and everything is working fine now ??
