Upgrade to 4.8 problems

    I just upgraded to WordPress 4.8 from 3.?? and have some weird problems.
    While I can view the pages when I edit a page the edit window is blank.
    Also in updating Customizing header Image I select default and save. When I exit the image is not saved. Saving other items seems to work ok.
