Upgrade to Multisite- login failes due to redirect

  • Hello!

    So i made a complete fresh install of WP 3.1.1 and got it working with default config, no plugins and stuff, with a local vhost “https://one.wpmu” and WP beeing in the root. With that, i alle works fine with login to one.wpmu/wp-admin.

    As i install the network, make the required changes and stuff and try to login on the same url all i get a is redir to

    one.wpmu/wp-login.php?redirect_to=http%3A%2F%2Fone.wpmu%2Fwp-admin%2F&reauth=1

    I did research for two days now and tried all solutions i could find, including clearing cookies, cache, …. and another computer.

    Yes, there is virtually NO SUPPORT for this sort of thing. I too have the same problem and no one can muster up any kind of an answer. I have been combing through the forum here and any thing else that will pop up on the internet.

    I have tried to install this multisite several times from a clean install. I am having the exact same problem as smackz. I also started another thread on this to see if I could net an answer. I think this is a huge bug that has to be worked out someway. Can’t find a resolution myself.
