Upgrade to PayPal Payments ?

This particular plugin, WooCommerce PayPal Checkout, is being phased out soon and will be replaced with the free PayPal Payments plugin, which incorporates a ton of great features into the one tidy solution.

I’ve upgraded to the new plugins however I’m getting this error: https://share.getcloudapp.com/qGu56o85.

“Credit Card processing for your account has not yet been activated by PayPal. If your account is new, this can take some days. Otherwise, please get in contact with PayPal.”

Now I’ve had a PayPal business account for years… so I’m not sure if maybe it’s not hooked up to my developer account correctly?

How do I fix this?

Can I ask if you’ve been in contact with PayPal.com as mentioned in that admin notice?

Hello, I have looked around for the answer but was unable to find it. I was curious, with this plugin, does a customer need a Paypal account if they want to pay by credit card? I am looking to replace my Moneris plugin and wondered if this was a good option. I would like customers to be able to pay by credit card without a Paypal account. Some other Paypal plugins specify that this is possible.

You do indeed have the option to offer credit/debit card processing with PayPal which should not require the customer to have a PayPal account in order to check out.
