I just upgraded to the pro version of this plugin, uploaded the premium version of the plugin and clicked activate inside the plugin directory on my website.

This is the message I get:

Plugin could not be activated because it triggered a fatal error.

Fatal error: Cannot redeclare sab_the_author() (previously declared in /home/***/public_html/wp-content/plugins/simple-author-box/simple-author-box.php:43) in /home/***/public_html/wp-content/plugins/simple-author-box-premium/simple-author-box.php on line 48

(I replaced one of my directory names with *** in the error message.)

For the record, I did not deactivate the free version. Do I need to do that? Or is something else wrong?

The page I need help with: [log in to see the link]

I also keep getting a message saying that there is an update available (to version 2.3.17), but that is the version I have…

Yes, deactivating the free version should work, even if it should be automatic.

However, since we’re not allowed to discuss about premium products here, please write to [email protected]

I confirm latest version is 2.3.17

    Kind regards,
    Diego
