• I have just upgraded to the latest version of WordPress. Readers can still comment, but in the admin panel, I can’t get to the Authors & Users panel. (wp-admin/users.php) It’s just a white page, with no error message in both Firefox and Safari. I check the wp_users table and they’re all there, all 900+ of them.
I have tried chmod to change permissions on the file to 777, but that has no effect.
I have tried to view source of the blank page, and there’s nothing there.

BTW, I don’t know if it’s related, but I also noticed that in the Manage > Posts panel, most posts show 0 comments, even though there should be hundreds. My most recent stories are showing comments….however, this is a minor issue compared to the one above.

Feel free to email me: [email protected]

    Thanks,
    Scott

I finally gave up waiting for help, and decided to upgrade again from 2.0.4 to 2.0.5. This has restored my users.php page. However, I then discovered a new problem. Some of my users had been classified as Premium Subscribers and others as Subscribers. Oddly enough, the premium subscribers couldn’t post comments, but the subscribers could. I went down the list and check the checkboxes one by one, then reclassified all those users. I’m hoping that works. I’ll let you know if it doesn’t.

If I remember well, Premium Subscribers are created by the PodPress plugin…

That happens if you double post…
