Upgraded from 2.7 to 2.9.1

  • After upgrading, in my staging area, my permalinks stopped working. have them setup so posts are referenced by /%category%/%postname%/. Since upgrade, everything throws a 404.

    The same directives in my apache conf for allowing override (.htaccess) apply to my production wordpress installation just as my staging install that I use to test upgrades on.

    I would love to upgrade, but I’m not sure how to solve this issue.

  • Hi, have you tried setting them back to default, hit save and then again set to your own setting and hit save again?

    That’s a great suggestion. However still doesn’t like my custom setting ??

    Maybe I should turn on my mod_rewrite log and look further.
