Upgraded Server to PHP 7 – Plug in broke
-
Our hosting provider recently migrated our server running PHP 7.0.12 and MySQL 5.7.16.
Whereas everything else on the site is working, NextGen gallery throws an error when trying to insert a gallery, look at the admin, or display a gallery.
I’m not a back end plug-in developer here, so any debugging help is welcome. Errors thrown are similar to this:
#0 WP_Dependencies->enqueue(ngg_common) called at [/data/webs/[redacted]/htdocs/wp-includes/functions.wp-scripts.php:276] #1 wp_enqueue_script(ngg_common) called at [/data/webs/[redacted]/htdocs/wp-content/plugins/nextgen-gallery/products/photocrati_nextgen/modules/nextgen_gallery_display/package.module.nextgen_gallery_display.php:297] #2 Mixin_Display_Type_Controller->enqueue_frontend_resources(C_Displayed_Gallery Object ([_mapper_interface] => I_Displayed_Gallery_Mapper,[_mapper] => C_Displayed_Gallery_Mapper
Can anyone point me in the right direction? Has NextGen Gallery been tested with PHP 7?
Thank you
P.S. Using latest version of the Next Gen gallery 2.1.56
