Upgraded to 2.1.0, cannot activate plugin

    I upgraded to 2.1.0 and now when i click on activate plugin it wont activate, but it will show the Gallery Menu at the left sidebar. When clicking on Gallery or any other submenu options I get “You dont have sufficient permissions to access this page”

    I tried deleting the plugin and reinstalling, same results.
    Tried deleting plugin and downgrading to earlier version, same result..

    It was working fine before the upgrade and now its gone..

    @faq3d – Have you checked for conflicts with any other active plugins especially those dealing with permissions such as membership type plugins.

    I checked and i dont have any member or security plugins installed, the only one i have installed is limit login attempts

    @faq3d – Did you check for *all* active plugins? … or do you just have NextGEN Gallery and the “limit login attempts” plugin only active?

    You were right.. I had a lot other plugins activated, i deactivated them all and activated nextgen, it worked this time, then i started to activate each plugin until nextgen deactivated when i activated the conflicting plugin, its name is MP Core by mintplugins.com

    I had to leave it deactivated in order to nextgen to work..

    Do you know why it could be conflicting with each other?

    @faq3d – I’m not familiar with that plugin or the author, perhaps they can shed some light on why this is happening?
