upgraded to 2.5, now being redirected to another of my blogs!

When you go to: https://www.sugaredharpy.com/wp-admin

Which blog Admin panel does it take you too? The correct one, or the unfinished one?

What does your index.php file say?

First, I get this message:

No Upgrade Required

Your WordPress database is already up-to-date!

Then I go to the unfinished blog’s admin panel, at an entirely different url, melissajones.net.

All I had done with that new one was install WordPress several weeks ago via Fantastico on Bluehost. I have since included a message to my Sugared Harpy readers.

My index.php file says:

I’d still check again that edited wp-config file to make sure it has the info for the right database…

If it’s not the right info…how would it have changed WITHOUT me changing it? This is what is really confusing me.

And how do I find the info to change it back if it was?

This message is from 2.3.3 and is correct. You recently added site is 2.3.3.

Look at this page, https://www.sugaredharpy.com/wp-login.php The link at the top is to WordPress which is very wrong. If it was me, I’d start at the beginning and install again. You might want to change the permissions on your melissalones folder so nothing can be written to it.

Yes, it was the wp-config.php that needed to be redirected. But again, I didn’t touch the file. I couldn’t tell you WHY it was pointed incorrectly unless something went awry when I backed up. Thankfully, I also backed up my databases as well as my wordpress files.

I seem to be having a similar problem.

I am trying to install WordPress here:

https://tropicshimmer.majestickiss.com/

It just redirects to https://www.majestickiss.com/

However, it works fine when you go here:

https://www.majestickiss.com/tropicshimmer

I checked wp-config.php, and that seemed to look OK. Any help?
