• I was one of the many hacked wordpress websites. I had to completely delete my public_html folder to get rid of all the stuff that was uploaded to my website, and so I started from scratch. So far, I have been able to get themes and everything else to work, but my plug-ins are dead. I’ve uploaded quite a few different ones (flickrrss, fluency admin theme, twitter, etc) and not one of them works. I can upload them, and they show in the admin menu, but I activate them and they don’t work. I’ve deleted and re-installed wordpress 2.5.1 about five times, and restarted with new databases and everything each time.

Is it something I’m missing because it’s been so long since I’ve started from scratch? I would love to figure out why I can’t use even one plug-in.

I suppose nobody has any suggestions for me?

All I can find on the support forums is people suggesting that the plugins are not compatible with 2.5, yet they were working when I had 2.5, just not 2.5.1. Also, a lot of the plug-ins I’m unable to use, a lot of people are able to use on 2.5.1

I think it’s just that the plugins aren’t working in WP 2.5.1. I’m already investigating which ones are officially “broken” with this new upgrade.
