Upgraded to 2.8.1 – but in admin WP still ask me to upgrade

  • I upgraded, went through some “fatal error” but succeeded at last.Sp i have 2.8.1 – but in the admin panel WP still ask me to upgrade to 2.8.1? Why is this?

    says my version is 2.8.1 but like you – still tells me to upgrade.

    got the same issue here. Auto upgrade failed, and manual upgrade still states I need to do the update.

    Edit: in WPMU…

    Might as well make it 4 of us….Auto upgrade kept failing for no apparent reason, and manual upgrade says am running 2.8.1, but still asks me to update at the top of the dashboard!

    Same here. WPMU Upgrade went fine – running 2.8.1 and it still asks me to upgrade.
