You can try resetting the password in phpmysql or use the emergency password reset script.

Exactly the same problem.
Upgraded from Worpress 2.5 and now unable to login.
Received a new password after the “forgot password” link and still nothing happens.
Followed the instructions of topic

looks like webspace with only 16MB cache memory. Go back to previous version. Hopefully you didnt delete those folders already but just renamed them.

I was trying 3 browsers. Still doesn’t work.
