Upgraded to WP 2.3 – .htaccess permalinks with domain.com, but not subdomain

    I’ve looked all over Google, Yahoo!, and WP Forums and I still can’t find a solution.

    If I enable permalinks on my WordPress 2.3.1 install on https://www.domain.com (I can also use domain.com), it works. How I have things setup is, for testing, I have www (or just domain.com) – domain.com/folder/wptesting directory, it works.

    However, using a different domain – dev.domain.com, the permalinks fail. I get a “page not found” error. Permalinks work on 2.2, and the work on https://www.domain.com and domain.com; not on dev.domain.com.

    Can anyone shed some light?
