upgrading

  • I am taking over a WordPress website. I can work on the website from my computer by logging in on the site with the passwords but I can’t upgrade to version 3.1.3 or upload new themes, does this have to be done from the computer that had the origional files on it?
    I have never used Worpress before so will be needing some help
