Upgrading breaks the my current slider

    Hi, I really like this slider plugin. One thing I wish it can be improved on is stability.

    What has been happening is that after plugin updating, my current slider stops working properly. It just shows a blank box, and I would have to rebuild my slider from scratch. This happened in the past 2-3 updates.

    Any ideas why this is happening?

    @skylabb sorry for the issue. Does it happen with every update or did it happen once? If only once, which Gutenslider Version were you using and which were you upgrading to?

    Thanks for the response.

    As mentioned in my first message, the issued happened 2-3 times in the past. It may not necessarily caused by Gutenslider update itself and more relating to WP update which throws in some incompatibility. In the last time, I notice when I updated my site to latest release of WP, then Gutenslider broke. And then I updated Guenslider in hope the issue be fixed – it didn’t help. So I ended up having to rebuild the slider.

    @skylabb does it happen with 5.5.0 as well?

    Sorry, I didn’t take note for myself on exactly which versions of WP in the past causing issues with the plugin. I only remember that this happened at least twice.

    @skylabb will close this and hoping it will not happen again, paying more caution on migrations.
