Hi, has anyone any ideas please for solving this:
when upgrading from 2.9.2 to 3.0.1 I have “WordPress upgraded successfully”.
However, in the browser I have:

Fatal error: Call to a member function add_rewrite_tag() on a non-object in .../taxonomy.php on line 289

Unfortunately this locks me out of admin – so I cannot de-activate any plugins or test other steps to try and correct problem (as per ideas expressed in this forum) and am consequently stuck!

I have tried ftp upload of older version of this (taxonomy) file to see if I can get round it (no luck/ different error). I have no back-up of the site to fallback on, so wonder if any way to return to earlier 2.9.2 – or recover site?
    Advice most welcome!
