Upgrading from 4.1.4 to 4.6

Hi, folks!

I don’t have a problem yet but I want to avoid having one.

I need to upgrade a site that’s up and running from version 4.1.4.

My question is: Is it safe to upgrade it directly to 4.6?

Is there a way to do incremental upgrades or it’s not needed?

The site does not use many plugins so I don’t foresee a problem there. My main concern is with the core itself.

P.S.: Obviously, I don’t have much experience upgrading WordPress but have lots of it with other softwares and know how things can go sideways.
