Upgrading from 6.4.3 to 6.5

    Hi,

    I just did the 6.5 update and several issues were logged:

    If you use this plugin and see it as the cause, deactivate it as a test. Possibly the best way to do this would be via the backup or ask their support forum.

    @threadi The plugin is deactivated and removed a long time ago BUT after doing the changes.

    Have you deactivated it without undoing the changes? According to the plugin description, there is also an option to do this in the plugin. You might want to ask the support forum there: https://www.ads-software.com/support/plugin/index-wp-mysql-for-speed/

    @threadi That plugin doesn’t need to be active or even present after the job.

    And no, i didn’t undo anything. Actually i didn’t even installed the plugin in the first place, our hosting company did, without any notice.

    For now, i’m reverting back to 6.4.3, undo the changes of the db and update again to 6.5.

    And hope the issues do not happen again during the upgrade.

    i was right. Reverting back to WP indexing, resolved the upgrade issue to WP 6.5
