I have been trying to upgrade to Premium from the most recent WordPress version and have not been able to log in to make this happen. I do not want to create a new account and have to rebuild the website from scratch. Please enlighten. Thank you.

There are no upgrades for www.ads-software.com sites, you have full control over your site.

What’s the URL of your site right now?

    Thank you for your reply.

‘There are no upgrades for www.ads-software.com sites, you have full control over your site.’? Please clarify.

Well, there might be some confusion here, which is why I asked for the URL of your site. ??

The upgrade you’re referring to is for https://wordpress.com/ sites. Those start free, and you buy more features with the Premium and Business plans.

On the other hand, if you have WordPress installed from https://www.ads-software.com/ on a hosting provider, there are no upgrades necessary, because you can control ever aspect of it.

To clear up any confusion, WordPress.com and www.ads-software.com are two different entities: https://codex.www.ads-software.com/WordPress_vs_WordPress.com

So, what is the URL of your site right now?

We’re trying to upgrade in order to get access to live tech support–primarily for help with editing bilingual content.

    Thanks again!

Ok, that’s a self-hosted www.ads-software.com blog, so none of the upgrades at WordPress.com are available to you.

They wouldn’t be able to help any way, they can only support WordPress.com blogs over there.

What plugin are you using to manage your bilingual content?

    I understand.

I will have to get back to you about the plug-in–I’m a translator working in WordPress for the first time. There is content on the Spanish pages (the original English-language content and a Google Spanish-language translation) that has to be deleted and I have not found a way to make these changes.

    I appreciate your feedback, James.

    Hi, James.

Getting back to you about your plugin question: we are using Transposh to manage bilingual content. Any ideas on how to delete extraneous content on the Spanish pages?

    Thanks!

    Moderator James Huff

    (@macmanx)

No, I haven’t used that one.

I recommend asking at https://www.ads-software.com/support/plugin/transposh-translation-filter-for-wordpress#postform so the plugin’s developers and support community can help you with this.

    Will do.

Many thanks for your help, James.
