Upgrading from MT: Text formatting issues

    I am contemplating switching from MT to WP for my personal blog. The problem is that I have a lot of Textile formatted entries, and I’ve recently switched to Markdown formatting. I’ve got Markdown working fine on the WP blog I’ve setup, and it’s formatting those entries right.

    My problem is the old Textile entries. There’s way too many of them to hand-edit (going back to 2002 or so), so I’m wondering if anyone knows of a way to parse the MT export through the Textile processor to in-place edit and port the HTML directly into WP. Anyone?
