• Hi

After upgrading to the latest (free) version of meta slider, I am now having issues with adding media or setting featured images.

I can go to a post, click add featured image but no images from the media library will display for me to choose from. I can upload a new one no problem, or I can use the search function, but the general display all images isn’t working.

I have disabled all plugins and isolated it down to the meta slider plugin. I ran a test by checking before and after upgrading on another site, to make sure it wasn’t an issue with just one site.

  • Hi Roothost,

Please could you do something for me?

    – In Google Chrome, edit a page
    – Right click somewhere on the page and click ‘inspect element’ (this will bring up chrome developer tools).
    – Click the ‘Console’ tab in chrome developer tools (this is where any JavaScript errors will be reported).
    – Click the ‘Set featured image’ link.

Please get back to me with any error messages that are mentioned in the console.

    Regards,
    Tom.

    Hi Tom,

Thanks for your reply, this is what I get when clicking console, nothing else gets added when i click add featured image.

Consider using 'dppx' units, as in CSS 'dpi' means dots-per-CSS-inch, not dots-per-physical-inch, so does not correspond to the actual 'dpi' of a screen. In media query expression: print, not all, (-webkit-min-device-pixel-ratio: 1.25), (min-resolution: 120dpi) post.php?post=271&action=edit:1

Please see screenshot at https://drive.google.com/file/d/0B4oBv3qcwOmRenBuUjVQeUhYQWc/edit?usp=sharing you will notice the grey circle just underneath media library that keeps spinning.

If I deactivate the slider plugin, it works straight away.

    Thanks

    Simon

    Hi Simon,

Apologies for the delay getting back to you.

Would you be able to set up a temporary admin login for this so I can take a look?

If you’re ok with that please get in touch using the form on https://www.metaslider.com/support (use WPSupport as the purchase ID).

    Regards,
    Tom.
