• I have godaddy for my hosting, and upgraded my wordpress to 2.0.2. I backed up, deactivated my plugins (I think I may have forgotten to deactivate “wordpress database backup” though), uploaded the files, and loaded the upgrade.php script.
After I upgraded, I could see the dashboard and website correctly, but ran into problems re-activating my plugins. I got the error “Call to undefined function: check_admin_referer()” for each one. I’m getting the same message for each plugin.
So do I try re-upgrading the site, or did I really screw everything up by keeping one plugin activated, or do none of the plugins work with version 2.0.2, or is this a godaddy issue?

  • What version did you upgrade from? Have you checked the plug-in’s sites to see if there are updates?

I’m not completely sure, but I think I had read that check_admin_referer was changed, starting in 2.0 I believe, to user_can_access_admin_page. So I’m guessing the issue is that the plug-ins are older.

I think I upgraded from 2.0.1. Where do you find out what version you are running? I tried to find that out, to make sure I was at 2.0.1, but I’m pretty sure I upgraded from 2.0.1

Now I’m messing around with my themes too, and I can’t access different themes either. “Fatal error: Call to undefined function: check_admin_referer()”
