Upgrading To a Newer Version For A Novice

  • Hello,

    I have an older word press blog (not sure which version) and want to upgrade to the newest one.

    The problem is that I have never upgraded a blog before and am very inexperienced with computers.

    I have comments on my old blog from posters; will these comments stay if I upgrade?

    I know this question is subjective, but for someone who is an amateur with computers, should I be able to upgrade without having too much extensive knowledge?
