Upgrading to Simple Calendar breaks whole Widget area

    I had calendars all set up in Google Calendar Events, but when I upgraded to Simple Calendar my whole widget area breaks (widgets.php). It seems like there’s some kind of PHP error that is preventing the Simple Calendar widget from showing up as an available widget, and the whole page breaks.

    My bad. There is apparently some conflict between Simple Calendar and Google Analyticator. I disabled GA for now and we’re back in business.

    However, we need to use both plugins.

    Did you manage to get the widget area formatted ok. Mine looked total rubbish – completely different from the previous version.

    Thanks, Nick. Simple Calendar is a bit different than I was used to with GCE, but overall, it’s much cleaner and more user-friendly. Props to your dev team.

    My work-around was pretty simple. I just disabled Google Analyticator temporarily and edited my widgets as normal. Then when finished I turned GA back on. It’s not an ideal solution, but it was quick and easy.
