Upgrading to WordPress 6.0 from 5.9.3 Break All Menus

Hi folks,

When Upgrading to WordPress 6.0 from 5.9.3 it makes all menus disappear on some sites.

When we disable this plugin the menus come back on WP 6.0

We did a full plugin/theme conflict test. All plugins and themes are fully on the latest versions too. We discovered that disabling Ivory Search plugin showing menus again (but even those menus show many more menu items than they should).

If it matters, this site is a subsite on a WordPress Multisite Network if that matters. Yes, we Updated the entire Network after updating WP too. This example site is not the primary site FYI in case you are wondering. It is just a normal subsite with a mapped domain.

Also, FYI, we have never had menus disappearing and we have been updating sites for 10 years. It has only started doing this from WP 5.9.3 to 6.0 FYI and context too.

https://www.ads-software.com/support/topic/upgrading-to-wordpress-6-0-break-all-menus/ So, you can chime in there as needed with the plugin devs so we can get a handle on this more between WP 6.0 update devs and the plugin devs.

This issue may just only be WP 6.0 which is likely.

So…`So, I did go back to WP 5.9.3 and all is fine again with all menus.

We have about 10 sites (this one is just 1 of the 10 as a example https://bit.ly/3P2ORvF )that are doing this. Any sites without this plugin update fine too.

P.S. So, I am not sure if it is a issue with the Ivory Search plugin to have their plugin properly compatible OR if it is WP 6.0 (i.e. a bug) that is not recognizing something with their plugin (or something not right with WP 6.0 generally that is causing this. Regardless, we do need help to fix this whether it is WP 6.0 or the Ivory Search plugin.

For now, we had to downgrade back to WP 5.9.3 and everything is perfectly fine FYI.
