Upgrading to WP.org version loses settings

  • I have a number of websites that use 18tags free version 1.0.3.1 – when I upgrade by clicking the link in WP dashboard to download v 1.0.8 from www.ads-software.com and then activate the new version, I lose all my settings.

    What is the correct process to follow to ensure I retain my settings?
