• Hi,
I’d like to upload a copy of a CV to it’s own Page on my site, but unsuccessful.

I did try to upload a jpg image of my CV with curious results. No matter what pixel size I set in Preview for the CV, it was visually never very large on my website. It always appeared about the same size regardless of pixel size. But, many images I have on the website have less pixels than the CV, but are much larger on the Page. I don’t understand.

    Creation trail: Pages>.pdf>Preview>jpeg>Media Library>Page

I want lookers to see the same CV as the one I would email to them. Any suggestions?? Thanx folks.? Tom

Why not make your CV just text? No need for an image (although you’ll need to type and spellcheck it all again).

Or why don’t you save the JPG as a PDF document and upload that instead, with a link to download it?

If you do upload it as an image, insert it at LARGE or FULL size. Does your theme have a “full width” template so you can display it without the right-hand sidebar? Otherwise it’s going to look a bit squashed.

    Hi Jason,

Thanx for the suggestions. I have tried lots of approaches but none satisfied me. I did upload the jpeg but once it was published, the size would change when clicked. Didn’t like the pdf rendering. Finally I simply copied/paste and did all the text adjustments needed.

2 things I don’t like about the Dashboard, although it’s gotten better: I can’t copy/paste without text jumping around and losing all formatting. And, I can’t seem to position images exactly where I want, but I can always find a suitable compromise.

Thank you again for taking the time.
    Tom
