I was wondering how this plugin handles the file upload. Basically, I want to upload a file to a post. Then place a form on the post, when submitted I would grab the attached file and send it with the form notification email as an attachment.

The one form would be used on several posts.

Would it be easy to grab the file attachment of “This Post” using your plugin?

    Thanks.

  • Hi,

What you ask for looks like a frontend submission, which is a new extension we’re building. It will be available soonest next week.

FYI, the plugin by default shows the form in the admin area only. When a file is uploaded, it will be saved in the Media Library and attached to the current post. It doesn’t have the email notification or similar because everything is happening in the backend.

When the frontend submission extension is finished, you will be able to put the form anywhere using shortcode. And be able to do what you want when the form is submitted.

If I install this, would I be able to create a meta box that will allow upload (and attach) file to a post?

Will that box show files that are already attached to a post? That were attached standard?

    Thanks.
