    Hey there,
Your plugin is so easy and useful – thank you!

My question is about uploading the backup files to ftp: I couldn’t find a way that the backup will be placed in a folder I choose. I understand each backup contains 5-6 ZIP files, and I wish it wont make a mess on my server.
Is there a way to set the backups to be sent to a specific folder on the server? (“/backups” for example).

    Thank you!
    Hadas

    Hi,

You can setup the backups to be stored in a location of your choice by setting the path in the ‘Remote path’ section of your FTP settings.

Navigate to your UpdraftPlus settings page then scroll down to your FTP settings and enter a path in the input field marked as ‘Remote path’, this location must already exist on your FTP server so create that first.

Then press the ‘Test FTP settings’ button to ensure that UpdraftPlus can successful connect and backup to that folder.

If you have any further questions please don’t hesitate to ask.

    Best wishes,

    Ashley
