• My company uses Vimeo for most of its video storage and I would like to use this extension to replace the default media library for handling our videos on our site. I installed the plugin and connected it to our account fine.

But whenever I try to click the ‘Upload’ button in the Vimeo media library popup the UI closes and the button disappears from the WP post UI.

I am running WP v5.9.2, the classic editor and am using ACF to create some custom data entry but the Vimeo button is attached to the default content WYSIWYG editor for the post. I am getting the same results on pages, posts and custom post types.

    Many thanks.

I tried to WordPress 5.8.4 and also tried to downgrade the plugin to 1.0.1 and 1.1 but no luck…

    Hello,

We have pushed out a fix for this. For existing plugin users, please proceed to Vimeo Settings page -> Disconnect the Account -> Reconnect the Account.

The reason is that the upload permissions are granted at the time of this connection, so previously connected accounts would be missing the upload permissions.
