    Hello! We’re a group of people owning a volleyball blog. We use the plugin to upload galleries, but some of us experience problems while uploading. We see some duplicate photos, even if we checked and there are none in the folder on the computer. How can we fix this? Thank you.

    Hi @egiziacoppola,

    Could you please let us know if you’ve noticed it happening while uploading images to a new gallery or to an already existing gallery containing images from a previous uploading?

    NextGen Gallery doesn’t detect the duplicates to prevent the user from uploading them new, but it shouldn’t create visible duplicates within Manage Galleries or the actual gallery pages if uploading a batch of files that doesn’t contain duplicates.

    No, there’s nothing wrong with the upload process. We choose the photos, upload them and some duplicates appear, apparently deleting some other photos.
    We have tried different connections (wifi, 4g) and different devices (computer, cellphone). The only device which isn’t affected is mine (an iMac), but all the others have this problem. Today we checked an album published yesterday and the duplicates are gone, but the photos which were missing aren’t there.

    Let’s get back to the uploading step. Can you let us know if you get any error messages while uploading images and if you can see any duplicate or missing images accessing the gallery from “NextGen Gallery->Manage Galleries”?

    No, as I said before we don’t get any error message during the upload. We see duplicate images and missing images in manage galleries at first, then the duplicate disappear but the missing photos don’t appear.
