• Problem. Edit or Write new post, I attempt to upload an image through the upload manager provide on the post/edit screen. Press ‘browse’, find the photo I want (attempted with multiple photos), press ‘open/ok’. Fill in title, press ‘upload’. Wait 2 to 3 secs and gives message as follows

The uploaded file could not be moved to /var/www/vhosts/oica.net/httpdocs/wp-content/uploads/2007/06.

I have attempt changing CHMOD to 777, and creating the directory myself. The only ‘Core Code’ I have modified is the Login screen, the Admin Header 1.changed the ‘blogname’ to the corporate logo 2.changed howdy to welcome, addition of buttons to TinyMCE, and finally the dashboard to not display WordPress news categories. The reason for these modifications, ‘global corporation requesting flexible content management system’. Aside from those few changes, no other changes have been made.

If anyone has experience with this same problem, or knows of a solution, I thank you in advance.

You chmod’ed which directory to 777?

trying having uploads be 777 and see if that helps.

When testing, all directories were 777. That’s what is puzzling me. I am assuming that it has to do with the permissions/restrictions on the web server, vs. WordPress
