    Hello,

I get this error : Upload error: Chat ID Tampering Detected. when the user tries to send an image.

I’ve looked on the forum and the documentation and couldn’t find anything anywhere about this.

    Thank you.

    Hi @tech96 ,

This error is produced when a user tries to send an attachment but passes a chat ID different from what their session is bound to.

Could you please specify which version of the plugin you are using and also if the chat mode is Cloud or On-Premise?

Another important detail is whether you are using any caching plugin.

Hei, thanks for the quick reply,

The Version 8.1.7, the chat mode is cloud, and I don’t use any caching plugin.

From what I know, trying from 2 phones, and 1 desktop browser, is that indeed it wasn’t the frist time on the chat, but 1 was the second “login” to try to send the image, from a mobile, so like minimaze de browser I suppose, tried on my phone as well, and I did refresh the page few times to check the settings that were done and then tried to test if sending an image works, the same on the desktop browser.

I installed the plugin just yestarday night.

Thanks for providing this information. Can you please try once again using an incognito window and let me know of the outcome?

Would it be possible to provide the URL of your website?

    Hi Again,

It seems that the root cause of your issue is that you are not using permalinks in your installation which is causing API requests to fail. Enabling Permalinks will not only solve this issue but also help your site’s SEO (Search Engine Optimisation).

You can enable them by navigating to WordPress Settings -> Permalinks. Select “Post name” and then click “Save Changes”.

Hei, thanks, it works, didn’t really bother looking into it as it doesn’t have lots of pages or posts, and it’s not online yet, but not a bad idea the /page name might help SEO indeed.

Just another question, is there a way to up the limit of 4mb/per photo?

    Glad it worked ??

There currently isn’t such an option, we might consider adding it in a future release.
