Upload Fail on XAMPP

  • Just now i got an error like this “Unable to create directory https://localhost/file/wp-content/uploads/2014/05. Is its parent directory writable by the server? ” after i upload an images . i dont know how to change my file permission because i’m using XAMPP . when i try to connect with Filezilla , i cant logged on . i install XAMPP in :C drive . Please help me .

  • Navigate to wp-content directory in file manager. Right click the uploads folder then go to permission, add “everyone”.

    Send a screen shot of that permissions screen if that didn’t work.
