Upload File Size Decreased

  • I’ve been uploading sermons to our church website which are generally around 30MB without any issues previously. Today, I went to upload an MP3 to the Media page as usual and found “Maximum upload file size: 2 MB.” What has changed? Is this something to do with WordPress? I’m using a purchased theme from VamTam and have a paid account through Bluehost as well, have never had any issues before. Any help is greatly appreciated. Thank you!

  • If you didn’t change anything yourself, I would recommend you contact your web host, it is possible that they have made changes to your account without meaning harm, but that prevent you from uploading large files.

    Otherwise, sure, there are ways to check it and go technical, but I feel the best is to ask, first, your web host, hopefully they’ll be behind it and fix it back for you.

    I started having the same issue today, and even for smaller files I still get an error and can’t upload. I’m also on Bluehost, waiting for live chat right now… I’ll let you know if they resolve the issue!
