Firefox 1.5 for Windows and I’ve tried it with Firefox 1.5 for OSX.

    Thanks for replying!

I have a similar problem. (Also WP 2.0)

Initially couldn’t upload, had to set wp_content permission to 777 via ftp client.
Now folders are created and files upload, but don’t show up… broken link image icon in post window, and the filename when viewing the post.

Clicking on Upload in the admin panel or entering the direct URI https://www.pixelplexus.co.za/blog/wp-content/uploads/2006/01/religion01.jpg
    gives a 404 error…
but can see it at the url https://www.pixelplexus.co.za/blog/wp-content/uploads/7.jpg

[Using UTW plugin and modified Andreas_09 theme]
[Tried with both IE and Firefox]

any advice/pointers will be much appreciated!

    Any luck AndreSC?

Hahaha, stupid upload problems.. =/ Try uploading a copy of the wp-admin/options-misc.php file from a previous version, like from 1.5.2 or 2.0 RC3 once.. You’d get back that field like before for uploading and see if that helps a little bit.

Like before, you’d have that same location in the control panel => Options => Miscellaneous Options..

    spencerp

And please don’t bother asking why WP did that, I don’t know, I’m not sure….and personally don’t give a fuck.. Just leave it alone lol! <goes back to drinking> …….

I upgraded to 2.0.1 and change the directory to /wp-images and it works perfectly now.

    Weird.

piginzen: will upgrade my personal site to 2.0.1 when i have some time, but installing imagemanager seemed to circumvent the problem somehow
