• Hi Members,

This is nice and works well.. It blocked, assigned to current profile, etc…. No errors which is nice…

Just 2 things it need help with.

1 – I added a browse upload avatar on the registration page. Filled out everything and attached an uploaded, Then logged-in to the new user, It assigned for the new user, the uploaded photo DIDN’T show on the profile? Any idea why?

2 – Also I looked at the demo photo about Subscription, there is no Paypal subscription settings from the Options tab?

    Please help, thanks

WordPress automatically assigns avatars as “gravatar” – which is “globally recognized avatar,” and is handled via gravatar.com. It’s attached to a user’s email address.

Adding an image field during registration doesn’t change this – even if the field is called avatar – because WP’s function for showing an avatar assumes it is gravatar.

If you want to change WP’s avatar to a custom image that is uploaded by the user, you will need to create a filter function using WP’s get_avatar hook.

I’m not sure which image you are referring to. None of the screenshots that I put with the core plugin reference subscription or PayPal (or maybe that’s what you were asking).

There is a PayPal extension, but it’s not included in the screenshots. It is a premium extension that is available individually or with a bundled support subscription.

    Hope that helps.

    Hi Roel,

Thanks so much for the link how to set the photo acceptance for buddypress profile. Oh my, I have no idea what’s going on, code wise a mean? It’s like reading another language! LOL

Oh ya, I was referring to paypal. There a photo circled in RED. https://rocketgeek.com/plugins/wp-members/extensions/wp-members-subscription-module-with-paypal-integration/

    Setting Up the Extension
    Time-base expiration
    Trial period

This members plugin every light weight and surely for the Paypal extension as well. Unlike others have too many don’t even care for! This 2 things is straight forward… Indeed for the Paypal extension looks very good by the photo layout. Very difficult for a none developer (me) to set the scripts, coding and etc… Bummer!

Upload image to profile and membership levels that’s what I needed… If Paypal and upload work right out of the box, definitely be great! Bummer!!!
