Upload image failure – cannot delete

  • I am struggling to upload an image from my disc into my site. I have spent at least an hour trying to figure out how to cancel an upload – Choosing clear does nothing.

    I have an image that seems to have failed to upload and I have no ability to delete it. I cannot find any option to delete an image when it is trying to upload – or cancel the upload.

    When I select another image to upload, it ignores my selection and tries to upload the failed image again – I now have 5 copies of the failed image trying to upload despite me choosing 5 different images.

    What do I do to stop the upload process and more importantly how do I delete these rogue images?

    Could you please be more specific about the way you are trying to upload, are you using “Add Media” option in posts section or any FTP tools like FileZila or “File Manager” option available with your control panel?
