Upload Images/Media

  • I see that as the Admin I can upload images/media into the stream, but others can’t. Is there way I can change that so anyone can uplaoad images/media with some sort of restriction on size?

    Hi there, that is sort of a scary thing, since giving anyone the ability to upload images could invite spammers to flood your system with spammy images, which you would then have to monitor and delete.

    What I would suggest would be to install some sort of Membership Plugin so that you could vet those that want to upload images.

    Alternately, what you might be looking for would be forum plugin like bbPress. Again, this can end up being a lot of work on your end, if my experience is any guide. They typically get tons of spammers and on sites that I managed, I spent a good number of hours each day deleting spam signups.
