Please refine your question as i do not know anymore what you mean.

If you want wppa to prevent an upload that has already be done, check Table VII-D7 Avoid duplicates. If you mean anything else, please explain

Ok, I upload my images directly to the website. I do not do so thru the control panel. The person that is hosting my website states my images are being save in 2 places—my meaning for duplicates. He is not familiar with wordpress and does not know where for me to look into the why it is doing so.

Please tell me the two filesystem locations where the two versions are, maybe i can tell you what is the reason of it.
