Upload images without creating post possible?

  • I was just wondering if it was possible to upload and image, that WordPress would then create thumbnails for, without needing to create a new post?

    The theme I am using for WordPress displays a thumbnail for every post that makes it to the front page. I am using Twitter Tools and modified it to add the appropriate meta for this to work. Unfortunately I can’t find a way in WordPress to upload media without creating a post.
