• I’m having issues uploading with the current version of NextGEN Gallery. When submitting images through the uploader, it pops up an HTTP error. Once the last image has acquired the necessary error, the dashboard lets me know that 0 images have been uploaded and if I tried to make a new gallery in the process, it fails to appear.

In response to this and what I saw on some of the forum posts, I deactivated all of my plugins excluding the gallery and I achieved the same result as when all of the plugins were active. I’m using WordPress’s Twenty Twelve theme (vers. 1.6). I checked the footer.php and everything seemed to be as it was supposed to.

I found a workaround using NextGEN Public Uploader, but I can only upload a single image at a time through it.

    Thanks

I agree with you. I doubt it is really possible to change memory limit yourself on shared hosting. If it was possible, everybody could do it and steal all memory for himself. It would be a nightmare for admins!

Photocrati-men don’t like two people asking questions in one thread. I went through it before here ??

@tom Thx I didn’t known it gets so complicated in this way.
Much complicated is the problem self. ??

@webitman – Please keep in mind … you are not using the same hosting service and/or you are not using the same theme and/or you are not using the same active plugins and/or you are not using the same browser and/or … etc., etc.

This is the premise put forward here: https://codex.www.ads-software.com/Forum_Welcome#Where_To_Post (my apologies for not linking to this article immediately).

We’re just asking that you follow the forum rules and we will make every reasonable effort to help you sort out the issue you are seeing on your site.

    Thanks!

@tom I used a plugin called Change Memory Limit paired with the one you mentioned earlier. Theoretically, it did change something that both plugins see because when I checked it using the memory statistics, it noted a much larger size.

As far as shared hosting, I ran a check and found the company that is hosting my site, but my employer believes the company is not paying for the site. At this point, I am unsure and will likely have to dig a bit further.

Thank you HeartofKronos, I’ll check it out.. who knows.. ??
